Conducting and Announcements: Provided by Vernon Evans.
ULS to host Pacific Slope Section meeting of The Lepidopterists' Society 21-23 Jul 2006. Vernon provided two public presentations to kids during the last month; one to Snow Springs Elementary and the other to Park Library.
Vernon showed a butterfly case for the Hutchings Museum that requires more specimens of blues, pierids, satyrids and skippers.
The 2006 list of candidates for executive officers were read off: President Clyde F. Gillette: Vice President: Vernon Evans, Secretary/Treasurer: John Richards.

Major Presentation: First Hour: John Richards shared a video on his recent trip to Nicaragua. Vernon Evans shared a PowerPoint presentation on his collecting trips to Cascade Springs, Blacksmith Fork Canyon, The Deads, The Newberry's as well as shared his Hemileuca rearing experiences during 2005. Dale Nielson provided a PowerPoint presentation on his P. indra, arctic alpine collecting trips as well as his Limenitis archippus rearing experiences this year.
For the second hour, Todd Stout provided a PowerPoint presentation of his 2005 collecting experiences to California, Nevada, San Rafael Swell, Toronto, Maryland, etc. Todd's collecting trips usually included other ULS members and started out in February, with Jacque Wolfe, seeking out Limenitis hibernacula. Oddly enough, his collecting season and ended similarly with he and Jacque seeking out "fridayi" hibernacula late in the fall.
