Joined the Utah Lepidopterists' Society in 1987.
Served as President of the Utah Lepidopterists' Society in 1989.
Has an extensive collection of butterflies, moths, and beetles. (Specializes in beetles.)
Organized and managed the yearly Valley Fair Mall Exhibit from 1991-1994. (See photos below.)
Appeared in the Front Page of the Deseret News in 1992. (Article available through Deseret News Archives.)
Organized and assisted in the Hogle Zoo Insect Collection Renovation in 1994.
Assisted in consulting the Hogle Zoo for Butterfly World in 1995.
Experienced in giving class presentations to elementary schools.
